Sometime I start on Spotify, especially if I’m looking for a specific playlist or something, then switch over to Sonos for control. The best part of the Spotify app for me, is when listening to Spotify outside on a bluetooth speaker, it’s easy to just switch to the Sonos speakers when I go in the house and just keep listening. SONOS - be able to control SONOS via Deezer App instead of SONOS App. 6 months ago 14 April 2020. Missing feature that Spotify has: choosing Sonos wifi speaker directly from Deezer iOS app. Currently you need to use Sonos app to play deezer on your Sonos wifi system. Neither you, Tidal, Apple music, google music, just spotify can control.
Sonos has enabled voice control of Spotify via its Alexa-powered devices. The Alexa app now offers a choice of Amazon Music, Pandora or Spotify as the default service. That means you can simply select Spotify as the default and say,” Alexa, play Taylor Swift,” for example, and the speaker will play a playlist of Taylor’s most popular tracks on Spotify. Unfortunately, Spotify doesn’t support streaming from free accounts on a Sonos. As we all know, Spotify is the most popular music streaming service in the world and Sonos is one of the top brands of smart speakers. Here we will show you how to get them to work together with or without Spotify premium account.

- Streaming to more than one Sonos household will cause an error message that the connection to the service has been lost, instead of advising that the stream limit has been exceeded.
- If a blank playlist is created on TIDAL it will also appear as a blank playlist on Sonos.
- When searching TIDAL content from your Sonos Controller, results may not appear unless the entire word or artist name is typed in. Partial search is ineffective at this time.
